Aerial yoga with Andrea Torres and Samadhi Hawaii
Aerial Yoga is a contemporary coalescence of aerial dance and yoga asana.Traditionally, aerial dance is an exquisite acrobatic dance style utilizing long silk ribbons attached securely from a ceiling, tree, bridge or any other tall structure. Dancers climb the silks using a number of methods, twisting and looping their bodies much like a spider in a web. Skilled aerialists then unwind and bedazzle as they flip, drop, spin and contort their bodies ever so gracefully as they descend the tissue. When utilized for aerial yoga, the silks act as a prop. Using the tissue for support, one can practice various physical yoga postures. The silk become a tool, helping to move deeper into the yoga pose, creating a more therapeutic effect. As a performance, artists climb inside the silk, much like a hammock or cocoon. From inside, they emerge, transforming themselves into living yoga postures. Pre Registration is required for this class and will be available beginning Friday Morning, October 22nd, at the registration booth.

Failure to forgive affects our stress level, power to heal the body, discernment, and all our relationships.
