Class Descriptions
Vinyasa
A yoga class where the focus lies in linking the movement with the breath. An even blend of standing and seated postures approached through a sun salutation format. Vinyasa class offers an opportunity to let go of the details and immerse yourself in the movement. Some asana experience helpful but certainly not required.
Level 2/3 Vinyasa
Vinyasa as described above, offering more challenging variations for the seasoned practitioner. Some experience helpful but not required.
Yin Yoga
The focus of this class lies in the hips and the lower back. As we remind ourselves that the original purpose of asana was to prepare our bodies to sit still in meditation….this class focuses directly on that principle. The postures are done on the floor and held for a longer period of time. No experience necessary.
Yin and Yang Flow
A powerful blend of Yoga postures designed to bring out a deep state of balance and peace. This class starts with 30 minutes of Yin yoga to open the joints, deepen the breath and clear the mind. This state of surrender is then carried into the Yang portion of the practice which consists of asanas to strengthen, challenge and cleanse. All levels welcome.
Gentle Stretch and Morning Meditation
This class starts with 10 minutes of basic pranayama techniques followed by a variation of gentle stretches and yin yoga postures. The second half of the hour will focus on different guided meditation techniques. Heavy basis on chakras, yoga nidra, and the Life Bliss Meditation Technique.
Yoga for Beginners
A yoga class with the focus on the basics. Perfect class if you are new or just merely curious.
